“You Deserve Better” – Bruno Fernandes Tells Midfielder Leaving United

Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes, has bid farewell to Donny van de Beek after the midfielder confirmed his exit from the Premier League giant.

Van de Beek joined Manchester United from Ajax in 2020 in a £35 million deal.

But the Dutchman failed to impress at Old Trafford, making only 62 appearances during a four-year spell.

Van de Beek went out on loan to Everton and Eintracht Frankfurt in recent seasons and will now join La Liga side Girona this summer.

The transfer deal is worth a reported £420,000 and could rise to £12.7m.

Fernandes, who joined in January before Van de Beek’s arrival, sent a message to his former teammate on social media.

“You deserve the best,” he posted with the addition of a red heart.
